The Composite Materials with Radio-Absorbing and Radiotransparent Properties Development Center is a Competency Center dedicated to the development of radio-absorbing and radiotransparent composite materials and structures, required by the developers of radio-electronic goods and antenna systems.
Business lines:
• development of radiotransparent radar antenna domes (housings);
• development and production of electromagnetic wave absorbers for microwave spectrum.
Our deliverables:
• development of radiotransparent radomes (radar antenna housings) from advanced isotropic composite materials, using a wide range of the state-of-the-art polymer and reinforcing materials, complying with the standards for the development of antenna systems and the basic product;††
• production of radiotransparent radar antenna domes (housings), using an up-to-date, precise, honeycomb-free technology, supporting more consistent data and ensuring high quality of components for air-, land- or sea-based radio-electronic equipment;
• development and production of electromagnetic wave absorbers for microwave spectrum to be further incorporated into the radio-electronic equipment to improve its electromagnetic compatibility, antenna decoupling efficiency, interference immunity, the ability to ward off side electronic radiation and antenna crosstalks;
• development of technologies for the application of radar-absorbing materials and structures in mobile and stationary objects, equipped with radio-electronic equipment, with consideration of operational requirements to the external factors;
• development and production of radio wave absorbing materials for radio anechoic chambers for microwave spectrum;
• development of technologies and production of ultradispersed powder-based ferromagnetic materials from carbonyl iron for the electromagnetic wave absorbers for microwave spectrum with the desired properties;
• development of mechanochemical methods for the production of magnetic and superparamagnetic particles used in the manufacturing of medical equipment and chemical sources of electricity.
